Who are we

Prime Power BV is a Dutch company focused on renewable energy solutions, including battery storage systems (BESS), generator sets and hybrid power systems.

We develop, supply and integrate complete energy supplies for both residential and industrial applications, with an emphasis on reliability, innovation and efficiency.

Through direct cooperation with manufacturers in China, Asia and the UK, we are substantively involved in product development, quality assurance and certification. We actively contribute ideas on technical improvements and innovations, give targeted assignments to our production partners and are regularly present in the factories. This is how we ensure that our solutions meet the requirements and expectations of the European market.

The foundations of our company were laid in 1984, with the establishment of Technische Handelsonderneming Van Den Heerik. In the years that followed, broad experience was gained in shipping, as a shipbroker and in the oil and energy market. This background still forms the core of our practical and down-to-earth approach: knowledge of technology, feeling for trade and an eye for quality and service.

Since 2006, our focus has been entirely on energy supply and sustainable technologies. From this experience, we build bridges between global producers and the European market.

Prime Power BV works with international manufacturers and certified testing companies, including Power Link Energy (partner since 2006) and several OEM suppliers. Together, we provide certified battery storage systems for the European energy transition.

We also operate under the trade names Stroomzaken and Joep Batterijen. With these, we serve the private market as well as SMEs and industry - always with one aim: making energy more accessible, smart and sustainable.

What we do

The company Prime Power BV offers independent advice and supplies customised energy systems and battery storage systems. Our expertise includes:
- Sales and Rental of Aggregates & Generator sets (Diesel, Gas, HVO100 & 100% Biodiesel), from 1 kVA to 2500 kVA
- Emergency power, temporary power supply and hybrid applications, from 10kVA to 1000 kVA
– Maintenance, certifications, 24/7 support, and tailored consultancy
- BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), inverters (INV), BMS and EMS, from 1 kWh to 1000 kWh
- Special consultancy projects: Hydrogen generator sets, Energy from Pyrolysis gasification of plastic residual waste, Nuclear fusion, Saltwater batteries

We supply generators, generator sets and battery storage systems for a wide range of applications - from compact installations for homes, mobile workshops and hospitals, motor homes to large-scale solutions for industry, port sites, horticulture, shipping and military applications, in capacities ranging from 1 kVA to 10 MVA.

From advice to delivery:

Together with reliable manufacturers, we offer complete systems for sale and rental: certified, safe and tailored for indoor or outdoor use. From compact units to fully equipped container solutions in 10ft, 20ft or 40ft format. Throughout the entire process, we ensure quality control, technical coordination and the appropriate certifications.

Certification & reliability:

We help our customers comply with appropriate standards and certifications, such as: ADR, ISO, Scope, KIWA, DCMR legislations, PGS 37-2, UN 38.3, UL 9540A, NEN 1010, CE marking and IEC 62619/62620 etc. To this end, we work exclusively with certified companies that comply with all applicable laws and regulations and have the right permits to inspect according to the statutory guidelines.

Insurance & Security:

At the sale and rental of our gensets, generator sets and battery storage systems stand safety and reliability always central. All installations are supplied with clear sales or rental conditions and, if applicable, with expert guidance for connection and use.

Our corporate liability insurance covers damage to persons and property of third parties related to the use of our equipment. So you are assured of a careful and professional approach.

Our policy terms and conditions and proof of prolongation are available on request and will be sent if required.

We work according to applicable safety standards and make clear agreements, so you can count on a reliable and safe energy solution - whether for temporary deployment emergency power or for continuous applicability.
